Winter Cocktails to Warm Your Spirits

As we enter the cooler seasons, it’s time to stay in and keep warm. But that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop!

To accompany your shiny new accessories, here are seven easy cocktail recipes, perfect for winter.
Experiment with different liquors and become a connoisseur in your own home. 





Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 3 shots of tequila
  • 1 shot of sugar syrup
  • 150ml of soda water
  • Juice of a grapefruit
  • Lime juice
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Fill shaker with ice.
  2. Pour tequila, sugar syrup and grapefruit juice into shaker.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Pour into a glass with ice.
  5. Top up with soda water.
  6. Add a squeeze of fresh lime.



Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 4 shots of gin
  • 1 shot of dry vermouth
  • Olives, to garnish
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Fill shaker with ice.
  2. Pour gin and dry vermouth into shaker.
  3. Shake well.  
  4. Pour into a martini glass.
  5. Garnish with olives.



Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of bourbon
  • 6 dashes of bitters
  • 2 cubes of sugar
  • Soda water
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Place 1 sugar cube in each glass.
  2. Add 3 dashes of bitters to each, and a quick splash of soda water
  3. Crush sugar with a muddler.
  4. Add ice and bourbon, stirring well.
  5. Place cocktails under a cloche.
  6. Run smoker for 5 seconds and then cover with the cloche for 2 minutes.



Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of limoncello
  • 4 shots of sparkling water
  • 100ml of prosecco
  • Lemon peel, to garnish
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Fill shaker with ice.
  2. Pour limoncello, sparking water and prosecco into shaker.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Pour into a glass with ice.
  5. Garnish with lemon peel.



Lemon Ginger Kombucha Cocktail (Top) 
Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 4 shots of vodka
  • 300ml of ginger kombucha
  • 60ml of lemon juice
  • Mint, to garnish
  • Lemon slices, to garnish
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Fill shaker with ice.
  2. Pour vodka, ginger kombucha and lemon juice into shaker.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Pour into a glass with ice.
  5. Garnish with lemon slices and mint.



Kombucha Pineapple Mule (Middle) 
Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 190ml ginger kombucha
  • 2 shots of vodka
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 2 tsp. pineapple juice
  • 1 tsp. sugar syrup
  • Fresh pineapple to garnish
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Fill shaker with ice.
  2. Pour ginger kombucha, vodka, lime juice, pineapple juice, and sugar syrup into shaker.
  3. Shake well.
  4. Pour into a glass with ice.
  5. Garnish with a pineapple wedge.



Kombucha Rosé Sangria with Passionfruit and Raspberries (Bottom)
Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 750ml of dry rosé
  • 125ml of raspberry kombucha
  • 2 shots of brandy
  • 2 shots of raspberry liqueur
  • 1 cup of fresh raspberries, plus more to garnish
  • Passionfruit pulp, to garnish
  • Ice

Method:

  1. Fill jug with ice.
  2. Pour rosé, raspberry kombucha, brandy, raspberry liqueur, and raspberries into jug.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Chill for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
  5. Pour into a glass with ice.
  6. Garnish with fresh raspberries and passionfruit pulp.
